The school had been scheduled to open in 2014, but had been put back a year due to delays with temporary accommodation.
The brand new primary school building will be constructed on Burlington Danes鈥 existing 10-acre site and will mean ARK Burlington Danes Academy will become an all-through school offering an outstanding education for children aged 4-18. The primary school building will accommodate 420 primary and 30 nursery students when full, and will have a separate secure outdoor space so that it will still have the intimacy and nurture of a small primary school. ARK Burlington Danes Academy has been rated 鈥淥utstanding鈥 by Ofsted, and achieved a 100 per cent A-level pass rate this summer.
