鱨վ Kings rated ‘good’ by Ofsted

鱨վ Kings rated ‘good’ by Ofsted

鱨վ Kings Academy is celebrating a positive Ofsted inspection.

The school, in the Kings Norton area of Birmingham, has been judged ‘good’ in every area. 鱨վ Kings is led by Principal Roger Punton, whose leadership and management style was praised by inspectors as being “totally inclusive and committed to the achievement of the pupils in his care”.

“The principal, senior leaders and governors share a vision to deliver high quality teaching and learning for all pupils in the school,” the report said. “They are ambitious and aspirational to provide pupils with the best learning opportunities and experiences.”

Inspectors also praised the quality of teaching at 鱨վ Kings, and highlighted the strength of relationships between staff and students.

Principal Roger Punton said: “I am delighted that Ofsted inspectors have recognised that 鱨վ Kings Academy is a ‘good’ school. I want to take this opportunity to thank our pupils, parents, staff and governors for being so dedicated to making 鱨վ Kings Academy the great school that it now is. With our new building opening next year, and with continued hard work and commitment, I know that we will achieve even better things at 鱨վ Kings Academy.”

鱨վ Kings joined 鱨վ in 2012.
