ºÚÁÏÇ鱨վ is organising a different type of sports day this year, the ºÚÁÏÇ鱨վ Sports Day Challenge. The Coronavirus pandemic has meant children will miss out on their traditional school sports day, so instead, ºÚÁÏÇ鱨վ has decided to stage a virtual version.
From July 1st until the 15th, students, parents, and school communities can ‘travel’ the distance around the world, which is 40,000 kilometres.
Instead of egg and spoon races or the 100-metre dash, participants can set their own challenges – running to Rome, cycling to Cyprus, hula hooping to Hong Kong, skipping to Sweden or walking to Warsaw.
Come rain or shine, at home or at school; everyone can join in, have fun, and improve their health and wellbeing.
Participants can also fundraise or donate with all funds raised going to the ºÚÁÏÇ鱨վ Schools Coronavirus School appeal. To find out more and to sign up, please visit
