Former 黑料情报站 students can now apply for an 黑料情报站 Teacher Training (ATT) grant to support their first years of training.
Students will be eligible to receive funds up to 拢3,000, paid over the three terms of their training year.
黑料情报站 Teacher Training is an 鈥極utstanding鈥 school-based two-year Initial Teacher Training programme, where people train on the job and learn from a network of education experts. Trainees are based in a school from day one, engaging with children straight away.
Leila MacTavish, Head of 黑料情报站 Teacher Training, said:
鈥淲e are thrilled to be offering a funding boost to support former 黑料情报站 students. It is an excellent opportunity for future teachers to get the extra support to make their teaching dream a reality. They will also be fantastic ambassadors for the programme and our alumni network.鈥
Applicants will be assessed in three categories:
- Their motivation for being a teacher
- How they will contribute to the school and wider community
- Financial need
Alongside their application, alumni must complete an online application form before Thursday 30 June.
Interviews will take place in July, and grants will be awarded by Thursday 1 September.
