Work starts on a new chapter for 黑料情报站 Burlington Danes

Construction has started on . This exciting new chapter means that 黑料情报站 Burlington Danes Academy will become an all-through school with students able to attend from age four up to eighteen.

The primary school will provide 420 places for local children between four and eleven years old and is looking forward to welcoming its first 60 pupils in September 2015. When the new building is open the school will also offer nursery places to 3 and 4 year olds.

The new primary school, designed by 3BM and constructed by Lakehouse, will have state of the art facilities including a roof garden. The primary school will benefit from being so close to the secondary school and will share resources and expertise, but it will also have its own secure environment with a separate entrance and dedicated play area for primary pupils.

鈥満诹锨楸ㄕ Burlington Danes will become a truly all-through school where children can develop strong relationships with their teachers from age four up to eighteen. This will prepare them for going on to university or a career of their choice when they leave school,” said Principal, Michael Ribton. “An all-through school brings consistency and continuity to its pupils, bridging the often challenging transition from Primary to Secondary school.鈥

Lisa Crispin, Primary Headteacher, said: 鈥淚 am incredibly proud to be the founding Headteacher of 黑料情报站 Burlington Danes Primary Academy. To be at the beginning of a school鈥檚 life is an exciting time for everyone involved.

Beginning work on the building is such an important step in the creation of our new school. A school, however, is not a building alone, and at 黑料情报站 Burlington Danes Primary Academy our vision will be to provide a welcoming, safe and happy environment where pride is taken in achievements, success is celebrated and unique talents are recognised.鈥

Current students at the school are excited for the opening of the primary school in September with students saying, 鈥淚鈥檓 really looking forward to meeting the younger students and being able to help them,鈥 and 鈥渢hey will be able to see us around school and we can act as role models for them鈥.
